Adam Latham began taking photographs in his teens with a Kodak Disc Camera. All of his work is now shot with a Nikon CoolPix 5200. He has also scanned slides of his older work and has experimented with manipulating Polaroid images by hand. Adam is a landscape architect and owner of The Howland & Higgins Company located in Rehoboth, MA. He has been a registered landscape architect for 15 years. He lives in Rehoboth with his wife and two children.
Adam is a 1986 graduate of the Stockbridge School of Agriculture and a 1988 graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He received his Master of Landscape Architecture degree from UMass in 1990. Prior to launching his business he was employed for eleven years by national and international civil engineering firms in Cambridge, MA and Providence, RI. He started his current business in 2003.
His hobbies and interests include photography, landscape gardening, organic vegetable gardening and raising Christmas trees. He also enjoys reading a good biography or history book and spending time by the lake in Maine. He is currently the president of the Rehoboth Land Trust. Adam has been a member of several town boards and commissions. He has also served as Moderator for his church.
His goal with his professional work is to inspire his clients to contemplate the beauty of Godís creation through his landscape designs and photography.
